Just a reminder of some of the super cute YoSD and MSD items currently up for sale in my shop! Skirts, dresses, shorts, and jumpers!

Check it out at Jointed!

So basically, I received my student loans and grants on the 17th for my final year of University. I’ve been crunching numbers and I’ve realised that after paying all my rent, I have around £200 ($320ish) to last me from now until Jan 12th (when my next bit of financial aid comes in.)

Unfortunately I’m not in a position where my parents can help me financially, and I’m really hoping I won’t have to sell a doll, however that money has to cover all living expenses.

I’m absolutely not asking for anything like donations, this is simply to say that I’m going to be relying on and hopefully putting a lot more into my Etsy this term to help out!

Thank you so much for reading, and I would be super grateful for any reblogs! Thank you again <3

today, my school hosted an exhibit for suicide awareness day. the exhibit included 1,100 backpacks in representation of the number of lives that are lost to mental illness each year on college campuses. many of these backpacks were donated by the families that lost loved ones and had their stories attached. i’m so proud of my school for bringing attention to such a serious issue.

Powerful & creative imagery

the food and education made me sad.

I have always been fascinated by these ‘world of 100 people’ things, I remember spending hours thinking through the ones on a poster at church when I was 9 or so. It really, really makes some really important stuff so blindingly clear, in numbers we can understand. And it should, I hope it does, inspire us to act.

Amazing post.

i hope im one of the 7 people with a computer

Fun fact: if you approach an employee and insist that they go ‘check the back’ for an item that’s not on the shelf, there is a 90% chance that they’ll go to the back room, scratch their ass and check their text messages for five minutes, and come back out with a sympathetic smile and a ‘Sorry!’ because they know without even looking that the stock isn’t there.

its true i’ve done it before
